Oliver Althoen

Oliver is a guitarist, composer, performer and teacher. He plays many instruments, including guitar (classical, electric, acoustic), bass, ukulele, dobro, mandolin, cello, piano, and drums. He received his Masters degree in Classical Guitar Performance from CSUF in 2005. His teaching style involves finding a balance between serious study and free musical play. He gets into the details of instrumental technique and uses these tools to help students bring out their unique musical voice.
